DEKRA Battery Test
The independent, patented, and flexible battery test.
For in-depth analysis, DEKRA offers an independent battery test that combines both a static and dynamic test. DEKRA Battery Test provides you with an accurate evaluation of battery health and is comparable across different car models. The test is validated and patented, showing how much the battery has degraded compared to a brand-new electric vehicle or plug-in hybrid.
- Validated measurement method and patented battery test.
- Applications: comparison between car models, more reliable valuation, inventory management, return of leased vehicles, and faster transactions.
- Dynamic part of the test: can be performed via discharge (acceleration). The method measures the battery’s resistance to determine the degradation in capacity compared to a brand-new car.
