DEKRA Battery Test Wins Innovation Award
DEKRA’s battery test (SoH Test-Certificate) for electric vehicles has been awarded the German Mobility Industry Innovation Award.
The award specifically recognizes innovations in the automotive sector and is presented for the third time by the German Association for Transport Science, DVWG.
– We warmly congratulate DEKRA on winning the 2023 Innovation Award. Whether it’s road, rail, or air transport – we live in an era where we aim to move away from fossil fuels across the entire automotive sector. Alternatives are therefore inevitable, and their promotion is all the more important. E-mobility plays a key role in climate-friendly transport. This makes the contribution of DEKRA’s battery test, with its focus on sustainability and cost-effectiveness, even more significant, says jury chairman Prof. Knut Ringat, who is also the initiator of the award.

DEKRA Battery Test Receives CARA Certification
DEKRA has been awarded the “CARA Approved” certification mark for its battery test SoH Readout – Report.
The certification means that the solution meets the common European standards developed for independent assessment and verification of the state of health of batteries in electric vehicles.
– It is gratifying news that our quick test SoH Readout – Report has now been CARA-certified. In a market where the proportion of used electric vehicles is growing rapidly, trust and transparency are crucial. Clarity in interpreting battery data is a key factor for both dealers and consumers, says Joakim Hansson, Quality and HSE Manager, DEKRA Automotive AB.
