A quick readout for those who want an overview of the battery’s estimated performance. The equipment is connected via the vehicle’s OBD port, and with the help of DEKRA’s mobile app, you can receive a report based on the vehicle’s own data in 3 minutes. The result is shown on a scale from 1–100 and provides an indication of the battery capacity, based on the manufacturer’s information from the BMS system.
DEKRA Battery Readout is based on the factory’s method of measuring SoH (State of Health); every vehicle manufacturer has different ways of measuring SoH, which means that it is not possible to compare between different car brands.

DEKRA Battery Test and DEKRA Battery Readout are available as a SaaS (“Software as a Service”) solution, where you as a customer can create battery test reports in real-time using DEKRA’s system. The battery test report is a detailed summary of the battery test and is designed for easy interpretation. It is available via a web portal and can be seamlessly transferred to the customer’s own system using a standard API.
